It's not advice to me personally, but it sure felt like it. I was (can't remember the exact setting) either sitting in a devotional at Ricks College, or listening to General Conference. Elder Maxwell was speaking, and he said: "Just because the sun is shining on someone else, doesn't mean there's a raincloud over your head." I think about that quote ALL the time. It's like a never-ending loop in my head and helps me to consider my blessings, stay positive, stay grateful, and celebrate the good things going on in other people's lives.
I’m super grateful that my mom encouraged me to study speech pathology. I would have known nothing about it without her advice!
